Special to the Free Press and Times.
Rutland, Vt., Sept. 3.

William A. Hale, a citizen of this place, was found on the outskirts of the village, this morning, with his throat cut. suspiciopns of foul play ar entertained. hale was about 35 years of age, and leves a wife and one child.
