The death of Henry Hatch, which occurred at his home in Sharon Village last week, removes one who had many friends and acquaintances in town, especially in the village of South Royalton, where he had made his residence for many years, especially among his Comrades of the Civil War, and members of Bixby Post G.A.R., of which he was a member. He enlisted in Co. C., Third Vermont Inf. June 1, 1861 at Norwich. The funeral was held at his late home last Friday, Bixby post rendering the burial service.
