Monkton Ridge

Samuel Shepard, sr., one of the oldest residents in town died Aug. 8. The funeral was held from his late home Wednesday, Rev. Mr. France of Hinesburgh officiated. Burial at the Boro. Mr. Shepard was a veteran of the civil war and a life long resident of this town. He is survived by two sons and three daughters, one brother and one sister and grandchildren.
