Amariah Smith, Aged 70, Died at Hillsboro, N.H.

Hillsboro, M.H., Sept. 12. - Amariah Smith, aged 70, died Tuesday morning at his home. Mr. Smith was born in Barre, Vt., but has lived here for 18 years, where he was foreman of the B. & M. section crew and has been in the employ of the road for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Civil war, enlisting in Co. E, 3d Vermont regiment. He leaves a wife and one daughter, Mrs. C.S. Perry of this place.
