Obituary

Died on the Cars

Enos W. Thurber, son of John Thurber of Burke, died on the mail train, Saturday, at Newbury. He was a member of Co D, 5th Vermont regiment, but had been sick for some time, but was considered better and was on his way home, and but two hours' ride therewith, when death overtook him.
