Obituary

Bennington Banner, Tues. Dec.18, 1906

Albert M. Ward died at the soldiers' home hospital Sunday. He was 75 years of age and had been suffering some time with a complication of diseases. He served during the Civil war in Co. K, 9th Vermont Volunteers and was admitted to the home in 1894 from Bakersfield. As far as is known he had no family and was buried in the home cemetery. His is death No. 195 at the home and the second within a week and the third since last July 4th.
