Residents of Derby were surprised to learn of the death of Asa Moran in Bolton, Mass., last Wednesday. Mr. Moran helped with chores as usual on Tuesday evening and passed away on Wednesday forenoon. The remains were brought here for burial on Saturday. Mr. Moran was a resident of this town and their friends here extend sympathy to the family. Mrs. Moran has been quite ill for several weeks.
