Obituary -- Died in Middlebury Village at the residence of his father, June 25, Joel J. Morrison jr., aged 30 years.

He came from Dedham, Mass., his place of residence, hoping to regain his health among his family and friends, but the decree had gone forth, he was never to recover. His disease was softening of the brain. At times his sufferings were great, but he never murmured or complained. He lingered 'till June 25, when death released him from his sufferings.

He was a devoted husband, a kind father, and a faithful son. He leaves a wife and one son to mourn his loss.
