Obituary

Death of Lieut. Noyes

We learn that Lieut. E. M. Noyes died at Newbury on Sunday. Lt. Noyes was elected second lieutenant of Company C of the Vermont 3d regiment, when the company was organized. After the 3d went to Virginia he was made aid-de-camp to Brig-Gen Brooks, which position he held until taken sick, when he returned home on a furlough, where he died on the 31st ult.
