News has been received here of the death of Sergeant Alonzo P. Benson, a former well know resident of Worcester, at Kansas City, Mo., September 15. Sergeant Benson served in Co. I, 11th Reg't Vt. Vols., and was badly wounded at the battle of Winchester, September 19, 1864.
