Obituary

Peter B. Cross died Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at his home at Malletts Bay following several weeks illness with pneumonia. Mr. Cross had been improving, but about two weeks ago had a relapse, and failed rapidly. He had always been a resident of Mallets Bay, and was 71 years old.

Mr. Cross is survived by two daughters, Miss Mamie Cross of Westport, N.Y., and Miss Carrie Cross, who kept house for her father; by two sons, Martin and Calvin of Webster, Mass.; by four grandchildren, Charles, Bertram, and Gerald Cross, and Clayton Tyler; by four sisters, Mrs. John Browe and Mrs. J. Villemaire of Burlington, and Carrie Memoe, and Mrs, George Memoe of Brandon, and by three brothers, Moses and Antoine of Burlington, and Nelson of Malletts Bay.

The funeral was held at St. Joseph's church Monday morning, and the interment was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
