Joseph LaTuch

Death Of Joseph LaTuch

The funeral for Joseph LaTuch was held at the Congregational Church Monday afternoon, Rev. C. E. Hayward officiating. The burial was made in Riverbank Cemetery. Mr. LaTuch died at the home of his step-son-in-law, and daughter, Mr. & Mrs. Leon Shepard, Friday, after a long and painful illness. He was 82 years of age. He was born in Manchester, N. H., but lived in Stowe for many years. He leaves four children, Mary, wife of William Kirby, of Claremont, N. H. ; Fred A. LaTuch and John L. LaTuch of Stowe, and Julia, wife of Orville Hutchins of Morrisville, and several grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was a veteran of the Civil War, serving in the 5th New Hampshire Regiment. His second wife, Clarissa Hoisington LaTuch died in January, 1919. Members of the H. H. Smith, WRC, attended in a body.
