Obituary

We have learned from a correspondent that Captain Charles C. Ruggles of Poultney ( Co. I/ 7th Vermont Regiment) died in hospital at Carrollton, La. on the morning of the 24th of July. after a protracted illness. His body is expected by the next steamer from New Orleans.
