Austin Gilman, aged 81, a veteran of the Civil War, passed away Nov. 12th at the Soldiers' home and the funeral was held from that institution at 2:30 Monday. Death was due to old age and natural causes. He had been an inmate of the home for about 10 years, entering from Derby.
