Moses Flanders

St. Johnsbury Caledonian-Record

February 6, 1901

Moses Flanders, an inmate of the Vermont Soldiers' Home died in the hospital Sunday, Jan. 27, aged 65 years. He served during the Civil war in Co. C, Twenty-first Massachusetts infantry, and was admitted to the home nine years ago. Death was caused by general debility. His body was placed in the receiving vault in hopes that some of his kindred may call for it. No one knows where any of his relatives are.
