Obituary

VERNON

Dwight S. Fairman

Dwight S. Fairman, 75, died Thursday, Jan. 20, in his home after an illness of several weeks with heart trouble. Mr. Fairman was born in Bernardston and spent his early life there. Forty-three years ago he came to Vernon and had since made his home in this town. He was a very active member of the Advent Christian church and a veteran of the Civil war.

He leaves one son, Louis T., and one grandson, Dwight B. Fairman, both of Vernon, and two brothers, Jewett of Pennsylvania and Ellsworth O. Fairman of Greenfield, Mass.

The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the house, Rev. George E. Tyler, officiating.
