PLAINFIELD, AUG. 9 --- Ezekiel Skinner passed away at 7 o'clock Saturday evening, after a years illness with valvular heart trouble. Mr. Skinner was a native of this town, born here nearly 73 years ago, and had spent nearly all of his 73 years here.

He was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the Stowe Post. G.A.R. of North Calais, which will have charge of the grave services. The Plainfield Military Band in which Mr. Skinner was deeply interested, will attend in a body.

The funeral service will occur at 2, o'clock at his late home on School Street, Re. Alvin M. Smith of Brainfield. Me. officiating. Friends are requested not to send flowers.
