Funeral of Patrick Burns - Served in Navy During Civil War
The funeral of Patrick Burns, who died last Thursday at the Soldiers' Home at Bennington, and a former resident, was held at St. Thomas' Church last Sunday morning, with burial in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Burns served in the navy during the Civil War. He was a great reader and was a man of more than ordinary intelligence. No near relatives survive.
