Mon. April 16, 1906

John Berry died at the Soldiers home hospital Sunday morning after being ill only a week. He was 64 years old, served during the civil war in Company C, third New York heavy artillery three years. He was admitted to the home from Windsor in1889 and has been a member most of the time since then. He will be buried in the home cemetery.
