Alfred H. Reynolds was born in Vermont, but was credited to Massachusetts when he was appointed Acting Master's Mate, USN, on 2 December 1861. He was promoted to Acting Ensign on 30 July 1862. He served on Calhoun, Portsmouth and Princess Royal in the WGBS. He died on active duty on 27 February 1865; interment in Alexandria National Cemetery, LA (Section B, Site 978).
