Franklin Perry, for over 40 years, a well known and respected citizen of this village, passed away at the home of his son, on Saturday evening.

Mr. Perry was an Army Post Veteran, having served in the Navy during the war of the Rebellion. For some months he had been in failing health, but was able, until quite recently to be about his home, and occasionally to ride to the village. He left a wife and two sons, both of whom are married and live in the village.
