Obituary

Rutland Daily Herald, April 6, 1926

The body of Marcus [Marquis] E. Tenney, 81, formerly of Mendon, who died early yesterday morning at the Vermont Soldiers home in Bennington, and whose funeral service was held yesterday at the institution, was placed in the vault at Evergreen cemetery here yesterday afternoon. Mr. Tenney is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Mr. Tenney was a member of Co. B., Second Vermont regiment of the Civil war, having been commissioned a second lieutenant.
