Henry B. Tuliper

Morrisville News and Citizen: OCT. 30, 1901

The death of Henry Tuliper, who has been in poor health for some time, occurred last Saturday morning. The funeral was held Monday, p.m., the Rev. E.G. French officiating. Mr. Tuliper had long been a resident here, and was a member of the G.A.R. He enlisted in 1862 and was honorably discharged in 1865, after having seen three years of service. The funeral was attended by the G.A.R. and S. of V. of this place, and several members of Post from North Hyde Park and Waterville. The interment took place in the new cemetery. Among those from out of town to attend the funeral of Mr. Tuliper were his sister Mrs Mary Mayo, and two daughters, daughters, Mrs. M.W. Dunn and Mrs O.C. Rochelean, from Rutland, and his nephew, Edward Tuliper of the same place, Chester Lamb of Fletcher, and Mr. & Mrs. Felix Burnor from Jeffersonville.
