Josiah B. Bowditch, for more than 35 years a Rhode Island newspaperman, died in Providence, R. I., recently. He was a native of Fairfield and a veteran of the Civil war. He was an editorial writer and reporter on the St. Albans and Rutland papers and went to Rhode Island in 1881.
