A. W. Abbott, whose death is mentioned elsewhere, was known as the builder of big barns. He leaves a widow and 11 children living, (two are deceased). The eldest 23 years, the youngest 6 months; this is one of two families familiar that went to St. Johnsbury not long ago, to visit an artist and the Company was supposed to be a Sabbath School excursion. Mr. Abbott was a very honest, industrious and Christian man, and he will not only be missed by his family, but in the church and community, of which he was an esteemed member.
