Obituary

Died in Landgrove-Aug 13, of consumption, James H. Abbott, aged 41 years. He leaves a wife in very feeble health, a son who is now sick with fever, and aged father and mother, one brother, one sister, besides many friends to mourn his loss.

He was a man highly respected, having held many responsible offices in town, and Methodist Church, of which he was a worthy member a number of years. The family has the sympathy 0f friends and neighbors.
