Obituary

Bernardsville (NJ) News, April 26, 1923

Funeral services for Daniel W. Alford, 74 years old, who died Tuesday in All Souls' Hospital, Morristown, were held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the chapel in St. Bernard's Cemetery, with Rev. Thomas A. Conover, rector of St. Bernard's parish officiating. Burial was in that cemetery.

Mr. Alford who was born March 14, 1848 in Virginia, had resided for many years at Mt. Horeb. He was a Civil War Veteran and a member of the G.A.R.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Alford.
