William D. Allard, who, at the December term of court, was convicted of murder in the second degree for killing of Thomas McCormack, and sentenced to the state prison for life, died at the insane asylum at Waterbury Tuesday. He was removed to the latter institution several weeks ago. The body was brought here Wednesday, and taken to Reading by relatives for burial.
