Mortuary Notice

N. W. Lewis, former State Senator, Dies.

Allegan, Mich., Feb. 10. -- N. W. lewis, former senator of this district, is dead. He was born in Vermont in 1831. In 1856 he came to Michigan. He served in the Civil War in Morrill's Horse Independent Cavalry volunteers. After the war he located in Gauges township, becoming a prominent fruit grower. His widow, two sons and one daughter survive.
