James F. White

James F. White, 71, a native of this city and supervisor of the fifth ward for three terms and a former state department employee died at his home, 310 Hulett street, Monday of pneumonia after several weeks illness. Funeral arrangements have not been completed but the service will be conducted by Rev. Herbert L. Shimer of the First English Lutheran church. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.

Mr. White was a civil war veteran and was a member of Post 90, G.A.R., of this city. He was a member of St. Paul's lodge, I.O.O.F. and was one of the eldest in that organization of which he had been active about 30 years. He leaves besides his wife, two sisters and one brother of this city. A number of nephews and nieces and several great nephews and great nieces.
