Along with getting the state where he was born wrong, the obituary incorrectly states he was to be buried in Mount Olive Cemetery in Pittsburg. An email to Pittsburg Parks and Recreation (which manage the town's public cemeteries), brought a quick response confirming there are no Stearns' buried in Mount Olive. Thanks Jasmine Kyle!
