David Eugene Haselton, aged 63 years, died suddenly early Saturday morning. He had been in his usual good health and had worked steadily for the Champlain Manufacturing company in Burlington, where he had been employed about 13 years. He enlisted in the 133rd N.Y. Vols., as a private and was discharged as a sergeant January 18, 1866. He was a charter member of Ethan Allen Lodge, F.A. & A.M., under whose auspices his funeral will be held this afternoon at two o'clock. He is survived by his wife and one son, David H. Haselton of Flint, Mich., and five daughters, Mrs. E. S. Lunt of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Frank H. Osburne, Miss Belle B. Haselton, Mrs. Ralph A. Orton, and Miss Mary J. Haselton, of this village.
