Two more deaths from grip and attending complications occurred this week. Levi Bemis, whose attack was not considered severe, was taken by pneumonia and died on Sunday after two or three days further illness. He had not been able to sleep in bed all winter, owing to asthma, and the last sickness was in his chair.

Mr. Bemis was a native of Dummerston, and his body was taken to that place for burial. Most of his life was spent here. He lived in Massachusetts in early war days, and enlisted there His age was 52. There are left in the family, a widow, a daughter, and a son.
