Lyman H. Cone

The Vermont Journal, June 11, 1904.

Windsor - Lyman H. Cone died at his home, north of the village, Thursday of last week (June 2) in the 75th year of his age. Mr. Cone was a native of West Claremont, N. H., and was one of twelve children born to Thomas and Olive Lane Cone, five of whom, advanced in years, are still living. He was a veteran of he civil war, having served three years in Co. G, of the famous 5th N. H. Vols. He married Lucia A. Judd in November, 1854, by whom he is survived, and by three sons and a daughter born to them, viz: Sidney W., of Newport, N. H.; Frank L., of Windsor; Clarence E. of West Lebanon, and Mrs. Guy Parkhurst of Hartland. Funeral services were held at his late home, Saturday, Rev. Mr. Robinson officiating, with burial in Ascutney cemetery.
