Hiland (sic) Clark, aged 73 years, died this morning at the Soldiers' Home from the effects of a shock. The deceased was a member of Co. B, 15th New Hampshire regiment during the Civil war. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Sep. 4, 1908

The funeral of Hiram Clark, the old soldier who died at the home Wednesday morning was held at the Soldiers' Home this morning at 9:30 Rev. George S. Mills officiating. The burial was in the cemetery at the home.
