Moses Stickney, a veteran of the Civil War, 86 years old, died Sunday after a long illness. He was said to have been one of the bravest soldiers in the federal army. He was born in Port Henry, N.Y., but had lived in Benson 30 years or more. He is survived by one son, Judson Stickney of Benson.
