Obituary
FOUNDER OF WINFIELD DIES -- Edwin C. Manning, 75 years old, founder of Winfield is dead there. He was one of the first editors of the Winfield Courier. Mr. manning was president of the Kansas Historical Society in 1911, He had served in the Kansas senate from Marshall County, and from 1868 to 1870 a member of the board of regents of the Kansas Agricultural College.
