Obituary

CARLTON R. CHENEY DEAD

San Jose, Cal. March 30 --- Carlton R, Cheney, an old resident of Santa Clara, died yesterday afternoon. He was a native of Vermont and 62 years of age. The deceased had lived in Santa Clara since 1868. Cheney was a member of Phil Sheridan Post, G.A.R. A widow and five children survived him.
