E. A. Bailey

Rutland Daily Herald, May 29, 1869:

The funeral of E.A. Bailey was attended from his late residence on Chestnut avenue, on Friday afternoon. The members of Center and Rutland lodges were present in a body. The religious services were conducted by Rev. T.C. Potter, Chaplain of Center Lodge, No. 34, of which deceased was a member. The procession, under the charge of Major L.G. Kingsley, proceeded to Evergreen cemetery, where the Masonic burial services were impressively performed by B.W. Marshall, Worshipful Master of Center Lodge. There were about seventy-five of Masonic fraternity in the procession.
