Obituary

BIGELOW -- Thomas A. H. Bigelow, a member of the Soldiers Home, died Sunday at 12:30 o'clock, of old age. He was 96 years old, and was a veteran of the Forty-fifth Infantry, in which he served as musician. He enlisted in the regiment at Chicago.

Veteran Bigelow was never married. One sister, Mrs Harriet Hayward resides in Jefferson, and until word is received from her funeral arrangements will not be made.

Mr. Bigelow was one of the oldest members of the Masonic Fraternity in Iowa, having been made a Mason in the early 50's.
