Pioneer Railroad Man Dies in This City.

Henry C. Allen, a civil war veteran and pioneer railroad man of Sargents, died very suddenly in this city Monday at the age of 75 years. Deceased had come to the city from Sargents for treatment only the day before. Mr. Allen was born in North Bernard, Vermont, March 7, 1838. He had been a resident of Sargent for the past thirty years. Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, in charge of Rev. A. M. Maclean. The G. A. R. took charge of the services at the grave.
