Giles J. Burgess died at the Soldiers' Home Tuesday afternoon. He was born at Hoosick, N.Y., Oct. 13, 1840 and enlisted in Company A (Bennington Company) Second Vermont, as a=20 corporal, May 8, 1861; was wounded May 12, 1864; was mustered out June 29, 1864. He came to the Home, March 5, 1919. His surviving relatives, so far as known, are a wife and two children living in Philadelphia.

His is the 15th death at the Home during the year 1920.
