Thurston Smith was buried last Sabbath from the residence of his son-law, N.E. Parkill. Rev. J.A. Heath officiated. Mr. Smith had resided here for quite a number of years and had been tenderly cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Parkill. He was nearly 90 years of age.
