DEATH OF CIVIL WAR VETERAN

Daniel Nary, Native of Northfield Dies at Stoneham, Mass.

Stoneham, Mass., Aug. 9. The funeral of Daniel Nary, a Civil War veteran, aged 83 years, who died on Saturday at his boarding place, 2 Pine street, this town, will take place on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Messer chapel.

J.P. Gould Post, G.A.R., of which deceased was a member, will take part in the service. Mr. Nary was born in Northfield, Vt., but served in Co. C, 6th Massachusetts Regiment, in the Civil War. He had resided here for many years.
