Patrick McBride died October 26th after a short illness with pneumonia. Deceased was 83 years of age and a veteran of the civil war. He enlisted in 1861 in company B, 15th N.Y. regiment and his war record shows he served his country faithfully. He was never married but tenderly cared for an invalid sister and aged mother for a number of years. His last days were spent with his nephew, Joseph McBride. His funeral was held at St. Joseph's church in East Dorset, Rev. Father Maillet officiating.
