JOHN P. Bedell

John P. Bedell, a o of Daniel C. and Huldah (Carter) Bedell was born at Woodbury 78 years ago last April. At the opening of the Civil War he enlisted from Elmore in Company D 5th Regiment and served four years, when he was honorably discharged. At the close of the war he married Minnie McComley of Bakersfield, who died in early life.

Mr. Bedell was a member of James W. Warner Post No. 4, representatives of which attended the funeral.
