John Bissette
John Bissette, aged 71 years, died at his home in Panton Tuesday night from dropsy of the heart.The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Mr. Bissette is survived by his wife, two sons, FRank and Henry Bissette of North Ferrisburgh, one daughter, Mrs. Harrington, of Colchester Point, and one brother Duffy Bissette of West Ferrisburgh. Mr. Bissette was a veteran of the Civil War, being a member of Co. D, 10th Vt. Vols., having enlisted in that regiment in Burlington. He was also amember of Ethan Allen Post, G.A.R. of Vergennes.
