OF FAYSTON WHO ANSWERED THEIR COUNTRY'S CALL
CIVIL WAR

Monument

The memorial is located at the entrance to the North Fayston Cemetery. The words on the top of the granite memorial stone are listed above the photo on this page. Below are listed the names of 64 men who served in the Civil War from the town of Fayston. Below this is written the "Spanish - American War" and the names of the men from Fayston who served in that conflict. The World War II veterans have a separate stone memorial to the right of the Civil War memorial stone. The flag holder at the base of the memorial stone on it's right, is a five pointed star with the words, "GAR POST 36."
