Woodstock, September 1, 1864.General Order No. 13.
In consequence of repeated complaints from various towns in this State of the inequalities of the enrolment, and of the quotas based thereon, Brig. Gen. T. G. Pitcher, Acting Assistant Provost Marshal General of this State, on the twenty-fourth of August, 1864, issued, to the several Provost Marshals of the State, the following order:
Give notice by publishing in papers and printer circulars, one to each Selectman, that the enrolment lists will be opened to correction to August 31st, and that quotas will be assigned 1st of September, based on the revised enrolments.

Official information has been received, that volunteers will be counted on the quotas of the present call up to the last practicable moment before the drafted are accepted and sent to rendezvous.
The several Superintendents of Recruiting, and the Clerk detailed to receive recruits from Superintendents will continue in the exercise of the duties of their respective offices, and will receive recruits, as provided by General Order No.10, and their instructions, until further orders.
