Cyrus Brush, credited to Middlebury, age 44, enlisted August 30, 1862, and mustered in as a muscian in Company E, 14th Vermont Infantry, on October 21, 1862. He mustered out with the regiment on July 30, 1863. He was born on November 21, 1818, in Salisbury. He died December 3, 1908, at Ripton, and is buried in Prospect Cemetery, East Middlebury.
